Abstract
This research examines the story in children's literature in Al-Hussaini Al-Saghir magazine, published by the holy shrine of Al-Hussaini in Karbala, before that explaining the concept of children's literature, its origin and development in the world and the Arab world in general, and the beginnings of its emergence as a narrative in Iraq in particular, indicating its nature and role in the upbringing of the child, a manifestation of the style of The role of knowledge endearing to the child, referring to the genres of story that Al- Husseini Al-Saghir magazine dealt with.
