Abstract

This article describes the concept of innovation by various scientists, the essence of innovation, its theoretical and methodological basis, the importance of innovation in economic and social spheres, the role and types of innovation in new technological processes for all sectors and industries, the effectiveness of innovation in services. the author’s newly given definition of the concept of innovation is reflected.
