Abstract
There has been a rise in buyer’s demand for safe and healthy food due to increasing concerns over the quality of food, tainting due to chemicals, serious health hazards, and environmental issues. This growing claim has given way to a new stream of Agriculture. The analysis of secondary data exposes that along with the rise in production, there is also a growth in the different varieties of organic agricultural products. This study is an attempt to understand and document the development of organic agriculture at the global level, the Asian continent, and India. It is evident that organic farming has been improved in recent years worldwide.
