Abstract

Training and Development play an important role in improving the efficiency of any
organization. Training is an investment in people who work with the organization and for
the organization. Training can do wonders by improving employees knowledge, skills and
behaviour. It enhances performance, increases productivity and multiplies profits. Oil
Sector play an important role in the Indian economy as it is crucial resource for the
country. In this paper an attempt is made to present the evaluation of training and
development practices followed in Oil sector with special reference to ONGC,
Rajahmundry Asset in case of Non-executives.
