Abstract

Scientific society and medical fraternity are initiating wide range of technological
solutions in controlling the spread of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Artificial
Intelligence can be a potential game changer in combating corona virus. In the past, the
less pronounced epidemic disease spread was predicted accurately by machine learning
models. But, in the current situation, COVID-19 pandemic is more severe and is doing
irrevocable harm to people's daily life and country's economic development. Countries all
around the world are affected adversely by this viral infection. In this paper, an overview of
COVID-19, origin of the disease and symptoms are discussed. The paper also explores the
broad spectrum of data analysis related to this pandemic and concepts of modern machine
learning algorithms for analyzing and predicting COVID-19.
